The Katsina State Government, under the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has developed a Unified Action Plan to guide academic, administrative, monitoring, and quality assurance activities across all Basic and Secondary Schools in Katsina State for the Second Term of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The Action Plan is designed to ensure effective teaching and learning, improved supervision, strict compliance with educational standards, and the smooth coordination of academic activities throughout the term.
The Second Term of the 2025/2026 Academic Session is scheduled to commence on Sunday, 11th January, 2026 and end on Friday, 24th April, 2026.
This unified framework will facilitate:
Standardized implementation of academic programmes across public, private, and community schools;
Continuous monitoring, inspection, and evaluation of teaching and learning processes;
Strengthening of quality assurance mechanisms;
Proper record-keeping and accountability;
Enhanced student performance and overall school effectiveness.
All relevant departments, school administrators, teachers, and stakeholders are directed to adhere strictly to this Action Plan to achieve the Ministry’s objectives for quality education delivery in Katsina State.
