SMART Katsina Broadband Masterplan

In today’s rapidly advancing digital age, the Katsina Directorate of Information and
Communication Technology (KATDICT) is a key driver of the vision of His Excellency, Dr Dikko
Umaru Radda, as outlined in the “Building Your Future” strategic blueprint.

Our mandate is clear: beyond a mere technical upgrade, it represents a strategic investment in our
future. The goal is to lay the foundation for better education, healthcare, governance, and
entrepreneurship by delivering fast, reliable, and accessible internet across the state, ensuring that
every citizen, business, and institution benefits from the power of connectivity.

Our aim is to bridge
the digital divide and position Katsina State as a leader in Nigeria’s digital transformation journey.
