The Governor was conducted round the project site by the school’s project consultant, who briefed him on the level of work completed as well as ongoing construction activities.

The project is one of three smart schools being constructed across the state’s three senatorial zones to provide gifted and underprivileged students with access to quality education and to nurture their talents.

The other schools are located in Radda, Katsina Zone, which is nearing completion, and Dumurkul in Daura Zone, where construction is also progressing steadily.

Governor Radda expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work at the Jikamshi site, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to strengthening the education sector.

The inspection is part of ongoing visits to key education projects across the state.

During the Sallah period, the Governor led a delegation of 17 diplomats to inspect the Dumurkul Smart School in Daura Zone, while he also visited the Radda Smart School in Katsina Zone last week.

These projects form part of the administration’s legacy initiatives aimed at transforming education in Katsina State.

The Governor was accompanied by a Board Member of the North West Development Commission, Alhaji Shamsu Sule Funtua; Commissioner of Women Affairs Hajiya Aisha Aminu Malumfashi, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Engr. Surajo Yazid Abukur; and APC Katsina State Chairman, Dr. Bashir Gambo Saulawa, among other officials.
