The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has assigned portfolios to five Senior Special Assistants and three Special Assistants (SSAs, SAs) he appointed late last year. This move aims to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery across various sectors in the state. The following individuals have been appointed as Senior Special Assistants to the Governor, along with their respective portfolios:
- Rt. Hon. Aliyu Sabiu Muduru SSA on Budget & Economic Planning
- Hon. Jabiru Yusuf Yauyau SSA on Health
- Hon. Umaru Gambo SSA Internal Security Matters
- Hon. Nasiru Ala Iyatawa SSA on Legislative Matters
- Hon. Ahmed Abubakar Adidas, SSA on Youth & Sports Development and
- Hon. Shehu Isah Lamido, SSA on Livestock Development
The newly assigned Special Assistants are
- Alhaji Salisu Shu’aibu Kawiri Special Assistant on Special Services
- Alhaji Shaff’u Rabiu Special Assistant on Victims of Banditry and
- Alhaji Mani Kado Special Assistant on Rural Economy.
These appointments reflect the commitment of the Katsina State Government to address key issues affecting the state and its people.
