The Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Budget Defence Committee, under the distinguished leadership of the Honourable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Malam Malik Anas, on the successful conclusion of the 2027 Budget Defence Exercise.
The completion of this important exercise marks a significant milestone in the 2027 budget preparation process and reflects the unwavering commitment of the Committee to transparency, accountability, fiscal discipline, and effective planning. The dedication demonstrated throughout the exercise has further strengthened the foundation for a people-oriented budget that aligns with the development priorities of the Katsina State Government.
The Ministry also commends all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) for their cooperation, professionalism, and active participation throughout the budget defence process. Their collective efforts have contributed immensely to the successful completion of this critical assignment.
As the State advances to the next stage of the budget process, the Ministry remains confident that the collaborative spirit demonstrated during the exercise will translate into the effective implementation of the 2027 Budget for the benefit and prosperity of the people of Katsina State.
