The Katsina State Bureau of Statistics participated in the official launch of the Digitalised Nigeria Education Management Information System (DNEMIS) and the inauguration of the State Steering Committees, held in Abuja.
Representing Katsina State at the event was Prof. Saifullahi Sani Matazu, the State Statistician-General, who joined other stakeholders from across the country in the national initiative aimed at strengthening education data management through digital technology. As part of the programme, the State Steering Committee for Katsina was inaugurated under his leadership.
The DNEMIS initiative is designed to improve the collection, management, analysis, and use of education data for evidence-based planning and decision-making across Nigeria.
The participation of Katsina State in this landmark programme reflects the commitment of the administration of Malam Dikko Umaru Radda to digital transformation and the modernization of the education sector through data-driven governance.
